  • Warning: Spoilers
    Brandin Rackley is my favorite part of this film -- love that faux British accent (she goes Eastern European in Bikini Frankenstein ... the new Meryl Streep of soft porn?) as the "Emily Blunt" role in this Devil Wears Prada knock-off (it is not really a parody as such -- the characters are fairly serious, except the bimbo models). She has a fairly light touch, a sense of humor and is pretty sexy.

    Christine Nguyen is something of a disappointment. She is nice on the eyes but is a bit stiff in the acting department (to each their own, but in a film that has some exposition like this one, this comes off a bit badly) in the "Anne Hathaway" role. Beverly Lynne is pretty good though in the "Meryl Streep" role. Her designer is no Stanley Tucci but is amusing. I don't quite know what the fake parrot thing is all about though.

    Basic plot: Brandin brings in Christine so that she can be her replacement as Lynne's whipping girl (so to speak -- no whipping literally involved) as her assistant in a porn magazine. Later a bit of intrigue occurs but since I never really cared about Nguyen, it's not really a big deal. Also, by then, Lynne's character isn't really a concern either. But, there was some good scenes, the best again involving Brandin (though Christine and Beverly aren't bad either). Largely a girl on girl (or single woman nudity) focus here.

    Overall, pretty fun, losing interest toward the end. And, cheers to Brandin Rackley -- love her outfits at work.

    {edit: For Nguyen fans, I will say that since then I saw her in a few films and she has some talent. Her Indiana Jones impression, e.g., was pretty good. I don't think she was that good here though.}
  • Several scenes mystify me like the opening scene in a fake inferno. The girl's thrusting to make rear entry into the other girl, but nothing is there. So, why is she? Perhaps the film we see has been shortened to show on cable since there's not any DVD release. The three partner scene at the end jumps through 3 positions in about ten seconds. All I can say is Nguyen is good, the really dark tattoo on Frankie Cullen's shoulder is not. The three models by the pool have very little to do, one has several sentences tattooed to the side of her chest. If the plot were more eventful and the performers better looking, maybe the little things might not bother me so much
  • I've said this before - Wynorski's softcores are extremely hit or miss. Sometimes it feels like he phones it in and the cast is severely lacking, like in Cleavagefield, but sometimes he really hits a homerun. This is one of those homeruns.

    Devil Wears Nada is a great parody effort. It stays close to the source material while simultaneously sexing it up a few notches, and adds comedy in where appropriate.

    From the opening scene it was obvious this was going to be a Wynorski success. It looked great with the special effects, and the humorous ending of the scene was great too.

    I normally like Beverly Lynne but wasn't a huge fan of her in this role. Brandin Rackley was great with her British accent, but Christine Nguyen stole the show as far as the female talent goes. A large variety of generic babes in lesbian scenes, varying in attractiveness from downright busted looking to quite hot, rounded out the cast, but most of these women did not have significant roles.

    As is typical in softcores which pair up Frankie Cullen and Christine Nguyen, I thought their scene was the best. They have some of the best chemistry I've seen in any softcore match ups.

    The comic relief gay character was pretty funny, though I don't get what the parrot thing was about...
  • Lexi opens this erotic movie with a lesbian scene in hell : the special effects are rather well done : a cliff surrounded by the fire ! Lexi and her partner are totally naked and are motivated to please each other. The director is not a penguin behind the camera so it's really hot and anyway it's a good start that motives to watch all the movie...
