PG-13 | | Action, Adventure, Sci-Fi
A soldier fighting aliens gets to relive the same day over and over again, the day restarting every time he dies.
Even though he's in every scene, Tom Cruise doesn't have any dialogue throughout the final six minutes of the movie.
Lt. Col. Bill Cage:
I'm going to tell you a story. It's going to sound ridiculous. The longer I talk, the more rational it's going to appear.
When flying towards the 'pyramid' the pilot says "30 seconds" [til arrival], but it appears they are really about 2 seconds away from the target. When shot down, they are much farther away than when the pilot originally said "30 seconds" and they have to make up that ground on foot.
There are no opening credits, the title doesn't appear until the closing credits.
