Sex & Nudity

  • Sexual content in conversation and scenes of couples kissing, groping and naked in bed. A lot of skin shown, but nothing graphic
  • Completely nude women in magazines are seen
  • The main character and another woman kiss very passionately.
  • In 3x02, a male character's buttocks can be seen.
  • At times, the show pushes the barrier for TV-14.
  • There are occasional sexual encounters throughout the seasons.

Violence & Gore

  • Violence is infrequent in the show (hand to hand fighting) and when it is shown it is not graphic or bloody.
  • In Season 3 there is one minor fight, but it is not long or intense
  • A main theme in season three is a contract killing
  • Mainly just references to violence

Profanity

  • Season 7 adds several f-bombs.
  • God damn is used several times in almost every single episode. One or more of ass, damn, hell, bitch, and shit are also used in every episode.
  • Middle finger insults are also common in this series.
  • GD is used excessively throughout every episode. Severe!!!
  • Godda** is used an obnoxious amount.
  • The bad language is mild however it is frequent throughout from seasons 1-6. The language has been stronger in season 7. The "F" started to be used about this time. It wasn't used before. It added nothing to the storyline.
  • Shit, Ass, Damn (and its derivatives), Bitch, and Prick are all used in many episodes. Goddamn is used several times. Pussy is said every once and awhile.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Weed is a running theme during the show.
  • There are mild drug references (marijuana) made throughout the show and occasional mild drug use (marijuana) is suggested, if not always visible on screen.
  • One of the main character's originally sold drugs with his friend (and did them; this is seen once in a flashback episode). A bong is shown in a couple of episodes.
  • Some cases involve drugs as subject.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • There is nothing frightening can be seen in the series so far. However the show may be intense in the sense that tension between characters is getting worse. Suicide is mentioned and death is discussed, but not in a frightening way. The main intensity is seen when characters fight physically.(Not a regular occurrence)
