Actor Ronit Roy was left angry by a food delivery person, who was driving on the wrong side of the road, and said that he “almost killed” him. Ronit took to X (formerly Twitter), where he shared that they need “instructions on riding” and asked Swiggy, an online food ordering and delivery platform, if they care about the lives of their drivers.
The actor wrote: “@Swiggy I almost killed one of your riders. They definitely need instructions on riding. Riding those small electric mopeds doesn’t mean that they ride on the wrong side of the road onto oncoming traffic. But then, Do you even care for their lives or is it just business as usual?”
To which, the platform replied that they “expect” their “delivery partner to follow all traffic rules and have noted this to be looked into, do share any details if available for the necessary action to be taken.

Presumed dead for years, Kennedy (Rahul Bhat) is an insomniac former cop who continues to work for a corrupt system while seeking redemption. Leone plays a pivotal character named Charlie.
“She’s a little bit of a complex character and she hides behind some of her motions. And one of the things she hides behind the most is this laugh. And I believe she’s a woman who’s caught in two different worlds – one is the one that she wants to live in and one is the one she has been deliberately caught up in. I really enjoyed playing this character. And I think she is someone who’s trying her very best to be as strong as possible at every moment of the day,” Leone told Variety.

Several films directed by Kashyap have played at Cannes, including “Psycho Raman” (2016), “Ugly” (2013), “Bombay Talkies” (2013) and “Gangs of Wasseypur” (2012). In addition, several films produced by him have made it to the Croisette, including “Masaan” (2015), “The Lunchbox” (2013), “Monsoon Shootout” (2013), “The Congress” (2013) and “Udaan” (2010).
The plot of “Kennedy” is being kept under wraps at the moment. “Kennedy is a ghost in the system looking for redemption,” is how Kashyap describes the film to Variety.
The filmmaker says that the character of Kennedy has been an obsession with him for years and was born when fellow Indian filmmaker Sudhir Mishra hired him to write a cop story set in the 1980s. That film never got made but the character stayed with Kashyap.

Filmmaker Vikramaditya Motwane, who is awaiting the release of his streaming period drama ‘Jubilee’, boasts of a diverse filmography with titles like ‘Udaan’, ‘Lootera’, ‘Sacred Games’ and several others.
Sharing the reason behind the versatility, Motwane said it’s his penchant to tell different stories that manifests itself in his filmography.
The filmmaker told Ians: “Interestingly, I never actively sought to make my filmography diverse. All I want to do is to break the patterns constantly as a storyteller and make films or webseries which appeal to the audience at large.”
Vikram is a “Bachchan fan” as he admitted and wishes not to be bound by the market dynamics.
“I want to tell as much stories as I can to the audience, mainstream, parallel, independent or not. Excellence can only be achieved if you take up new challenges and step out of comfort zone.”
‘Jubilee’ is set to release on Prime Video in two parts.

It’s challenging making a film about a young adolescent’s coming-of-age tale submitting to being made into a conformist in a country like India. Not because it isn’t an ideal backdrop to tell the story, but because there’s already been well established and acclaimed shows/ films churned out of the similar struggle of persistence across the Indian diaspora. But Varun Grover is no ordinary writer, and with his latest – “All India Rank” – the artist now turns his eye into the directorial realm.
All India Rank is screening at International Film Festival Rotterdam
There have been quite a few distinctive lyricists in India through the decades, most of whom have fruitfully shaped the course of Bollywood – the world’s largest film industry. Grover is also a scriptwriter, a comedian and now a director along with being a National Film Award winner for his lyrics.

"Every generation presents its own challenges and, clearly, millennials are no different. Adulting is tough -- (there are) problems with work, family, love, and roommates. It is a phase we all go through at some point in life. And I think it is okay to mess up.
