Carols, candy canes, Clark Griswold-types going crazy with outdoor lights: there are some things that signify that Christmas is just around the corner, and the Salvation Army red kettle is one of them. We've decided to get in on some of that bell-ringing action and give our viewers a chance to throw some money into the red kettle without even leaving the comforts of home.

In his new movie in theaters, The Words, Bradley Cooper plays a struggling writer named Rory who finds a brilliant manuscript and passes it off as his own. The movie's plot is a multi-layered story about self-doubt, honesty and integrity, but the story of how the movie made it from the printed page to the silver screen is one about friendship. In a ReelzChannel exclusive interview, Cooper and his childhood friend Brian Klugman, who co-wrote and co-directed The Words with Lee Sternthal, revealed to our own Jeremy Parsons how they have helped each other battle their own personal demons over the years.

Opening today in theaters, the comedy Bachelorette follows three longtime friends (Lizzy Caplan, Kirsten Dunst and Isla Fisher) who have to put their past aside while planning a bachelorette party for a girl they mocked in high school (Rebel Wilson). That doesn't mean that the friends behave properly, with wedding dresses getting ripped and debauchery only the beginning of the ladies' wild night.
Not unlike last year's Bridesmaids, Bachelorette is another comedy about women getting raunchy and rowdy, a trend that Fisher told Hollywood Dailies has "been around" but is "now on everyone's radar." When the cast sat down with Audrey Cleo, they discussed women in comedy and offered their own preferences for bachelorette party-planning.

Horror movies may never get the sort of recognition that other genres of movies receive, but there's no denying that the really good ones can provide, in the words of actress Kyra Sedgwick (The Closer TV series), an "everlasting terrifying memory." A self-confessed "fan of horror," Sedgwick recently strode the red carpet at the premiere of her own recent entry in the genre, The Possession, in which she plays the mother of a young girl who becomes possessed by a malevolent spirit from Jewish folklore known as a dibbuk.
The young actress who plays Sedgwick's daughter, Natasha Calis (The Firm TV series), was also on hand and she revealed to our own Jeremy Parsons that the scariest part of the movie for her was filming a scene in which "buckets and buckets" of moths were dumped on her. The movie is supposedly based on a true story and rapper-turned-actor Matisyahu said that,...

The Expendables might have won the box office but it's nothing to brag about. Sly Stallone and Co. grossed $13.5M in its second weekend but traffic at the box office was slow. Geena Davis won an Academy Award for her role in director Ridley Scott's 1991 classic Thelma & Louise. Now, she has re-teamed with Ridley and his late brother Tony Scott in Coma, an upcoming mini-series airing on A&E that was developed and produced by the famous brothers' Scott Free Productions. Hollywood Dailies was given an exclusive look at the mini-series based on Dr. Robin Cook's novel of the same name, and Davis explained to our own Viviana Vigil that the basic premise of the "creepy, spooky thriller" is pretty simple: "Don't ever let them put you under in a hospital."

The 2011 comedy Bridesmaids proved that, not only can female actresses be as funny and gross as their male counterparts, but that audiences would eat it up and come back for more. Well, Bridesmaids 2 may never happen without Kristen Wiig, but the cast of Bachelorette — Kirsten Dunst, Isla Fisher, Lizzy Caplan and Bridesmaids star Rebel Wilson — recently took to the red carpet for the premiere of their R-rated female-driven comedy and they claim that their movie is "even ruder, even raunchier" than Bridesmaids.
Another female-led movie premiered the same night as Bachelorette, but this one trades laughs for screams. Twilight star Ashley Greene headlines writer-director Todd Lincoln's new supernatural horror movie, The Apparition, which centers around a "horrifying apparition" that is actually conjured into existence by parapsychology students trying to prove that belief in the supernatural is enough for it to exist. The premiere of director John Hillcoat's (The Road) new period crime movie, Lawless, was held at ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood on Wednesday and ReelzChannel was there. Our own Jeremy Parsons chatted with a bearded Shia Labeouf about playing a Depression-era bootlegger and learned quite a bit about the effects of drinking moonshine, as well as the fact that Labeouf himself comes from "a family of crime." Parsons also spoke with Guy Pearce, who said that playing opposite Labeouf, Tom Hardy and Gary Oldman was "exciting and inspirational." The entertainment world is still reeling from the loss of one of the true icons of modern cinema, Tony Scott, who died on Sunday after jumping off of the Vincent Thomas Bridge in San Pedro, CA. Though Scott received few accolades for the movies he directed, he consistently turned out entertaining hits and his kinetic visual style has been influencing other action movie directors since his sophomore effort, Top Gun, became an instant classic in 1986.
In addition to sending Tom "Maverick" Cruise's career into the stratosphere, Scott helped advance fledgling filmmaker Quentin Tarantino's career when he directed the Tarantino-scripted neo-noir crime-romance movie True Romance, which is arguably Scott's best work. Scott was also Denzel Washington's director-of-choice, with five collaborations between the two, starting with Crimson Tide in 1995 and ending with Scott's last movie as a director, Unstoppable, in 2010.

Director Tony Scott died on Sunday after jumping off the Vincent Thomas Bridge in San Pedro, CA. The Los Angeles County coroner's office is planning an autopsy, and the Lapd is investigating the death as well.
The 68-year-old had directed many noteworthy action movies, including Top Gun, Crimson Tide, Enemy of the State, and Man on Fire. He was also successful with his work in television being an executive producer of both Numb3rs and The Good Wife. At the time of his death, Scott had just completed work on Out of the Furnace, a drama he produced that stars Christian Bale; the movie will be released next year.
Though he and his brother Ridley Scott both became Hollywood success stories, the British pair had humble beginnings. They were born to working-class parents in northern England.

Unlike some actors who feel the need to distance themselves from the action hero roles that made them famous by appearing in romantic comedies — we're looking at you, Gerard Butler — British tough-guy Jason Statham has never strayed very far from the roles that have been his bread and butter since first appearing as Bacon in Guy Ritchie's Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. But, just because Statham has made a name for himself playing surly ass-kickers, that doesn't mean that his characters are all one-dimensional. Case in point: Statham is one of the few tough-guys in The Expendables 2 who actually has a love interest (Charisma Carpenter), which allowed him to reveal his tender side.
Statham recently sat down to discuss returning as "tender" Lee Christmas in the sequel to The Expendables with our very own Jeremy Parsons. An action movie aficionado as well as an action icon in his own right,...

This weekend, parents who want to take their children to the movies have two family-friendly options featuring rather misunderstood young boys: Disney's The Odd Life of Timothy Green and Focus Features' 3-D animated movie ParaNorman. In The Odd Life of Timothy Green, C.J. Adams (Dan in Real Life) plays a young boy literally wished into existence who sees life differently from the other boys his age. In ParaNorman, Kodi Smit-McPhee (Let Me In) lends his voice to Norman Babcock, a young boy in a small town who has the ability to see, and speak with, the dead.
We recently got a chance to speak with Jennifer Garner about playing Timothy's mother in The Odd Life, and she said that parents should allow their kids "to be funky" and "to have their eccentricities." Garner's sentiments were echoed by Smit-McPhee regarding his character in ParaNorman, explaining that Norman is "bullied because he's different,...

Even though it has "Bourne" in the title, you won't find the eponymous character played by Matt Damon kicking butt and taking names in The Bourne Legacy, the fourth installment of the movie franchise based on the works of Robert Ludlum. No, this time around, the butt-kicking and name-taking duties have been handed over to Aaron Cross (Jeremy Renner), a black ops "sleeper" agent similar to Jason Bourne, who just so happens to have a little genetic tinkering thrown in for good measure.
But, Renner is hardly the first actor to step in and take over as the lead in an established franchise. As Jeremy Parsons discusses for Hollywood Dailies, the role of James Bond has been in flux since the franchise began, and the roles of Jack Ryan and Clarice Starling have been played by multiple actors, as well.

It's been a pretty good year for Jeremy Renner so far, and it could get even better after this weekend.
After stepping into the Mission: Impossible franchise with last year's Ghost Protocol, Renner joined the ranks of The Avengers, which, let's just say, was a bit of a success. In The Bourne Legacy, Renner picks up the Bourne franchise from Matt Damon, playing Aaron Cross, a decidedly different agent from Damon's Jason Bourne. "Aaron Cross knows exactly who he is," Renner told Hollywood Dailies' Jeremy Parsons. "He joins a different program — willingly — and wanted to be a part of something."

British actress Rachel Weisz isn't exactly known for action movies, as its been over ten years since she appeared in a Mummy sequel. However, Weisz will get her action fill in The Bourne Legacy, when her character Dr. Marta Shearing finds herself on the run with renegade agent Aaron Cross (Jeremy Renner). While Weisz is married to James Bond himself, Daniel Craig, the actress told us that Craig wasn't much help when it came to advising her about action scenes.
"He would just say 'try and be safe,'" Weisz told Reelz's Jeremy Parsons. "But that was really practically impossible." Weisz is referencing a motorcycle chase scene where she held onto Renner for dear life while racing through the streets of Manila. "I wasn't acting," Weisz said of her performance during the scene. "It was completely terrifying."

(WB) would begin to roll out a ton of awesome promotional material for the movie. Unfortunately, all that WB has released since Radcliffe's announcement is one set of movie posters after another, including this set of four new posters — really just a tease to hardcore fans who are dying for some new footage or at least a sneak peek behind the scenes of the movie. Thankfully, Potter fans can look forward to weekly "Muggle Minutes" segments on Hollywood Dailies and ReelzChannel correspondent Jeremy Parsons' upcoming three-part Deathly Hallows Spotlights from his visit to the set in England.
