Animal Box Office Day 4: It’s Not Ranbir Kapoor But Salman Khan Who Owns The Biggest Monday Of All Time With 59.25 Crore…(Photo Credit –Facebook)
Animal Box Office Day 4 has to be one of the historic moments to be recorded in the history of Indian cinema. On a working day, Monday, the Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Ranbir Kapoor’s monster of a film, has managed to rake in 44.75 crore (all languages). But, the film has been advertised as the biggest Monday of all time without any disclaimer, which is kind of not true.
Before we jump into the detailed numbers, let’s take a look at the current standing of Animal Box Office. The movie currently stands at 246.23 crores (Nett) at the Indian box office, with 290.55 crores as the gross figure. Overseas, the film has earned 134.45 crore, taking the film’s global total to 425 crore.

Sam Bahadur Monday Collection Updates ( Photo Credit – Instagram )
Sam Bahadur had fair collections on Monday, as 3.50 crores came in. On Friday, the film had opened to 6.25 crores and the drop is around 50%. That said, for the film to have a really solid run, the need of the hour was for at least 4.50-5 crores to come in, while the ideal number would have been 5.50-6 crores as that would have meant a negligible fall from Monday. That hasn’t turned out to be the case.
What the Vicky Kaushal starrer needs from this point on is to stay really close to the Monday numbers right through the weekdays. That would mean a score of around 10 crores more before the week comes to a close. It’s indeed a challenging situation for the film since it has in it to stay strong, but then the Animal wave is so strong, and...

Ridley Scott traverses genre with ease, but one he goes back to time and time again is historical epics. His Oscar-winning "Gladiator" clearly endeared Scott to swords and sandals. That film featured Joaquin Phoenix as the Commodus, the vile son of Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius who murders and usurps his father.
In Scott's latest, Phoenix will play another ambitious tyrant; Napoleon Bonaparte, the French military genius who made himself his homeland's emperor and aspired to conquer all of Europe. The film, simply titled "Napoleon," has now released its second trailer. The first "Napoleon" trailer, released on July 10, 2023, offered a taste of the film's sure-to-be-epic scope. /Film's Ben Pearson also attended this year's CinemaCon and was served a taste of "Napoleon."
Many directors, including Stanley Kubrick, have tried to tell the French Emperor's life story on film. For Scott, though, this is not just the story of Napoleon himself, but also his great love,...

All Hail Queen Bey
Beyoncé already has 28 Grammys, and if she wins four more, she will become the most decorated act in the history of the music awards show. She’s nominated for nine honors, giving her a strong chance to surpass the record set by late conductor Georg Solti, who has won 31 Grammys.
A Supreme Journey
Diana Ross is on track to earn her second lifetime achievement award, but she’s still never won a competitive Grammy. That could change: The icon is up for best pop vocal album with her latest album, Thank You, marking her first nomination in 40 years.
Viola “Egot” Davis?
She’s got an Oscar, Emmy and two Tonys, and a Grammy could be next: Davis is nominated for best audiobook, narration and storytelling recording for her memoir, Finding Me. She’s got some competition though: Jamie Foxx, Mel Brooks, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Questlove also are in contention.

As the first season of "House of the Dragon" finally develops into a show that can stand on its own outside of the massive shadow cast upon it by "Game of Thrones," one of the standout performances has belonged to Emily Carey, the young bride of King Viserys Targaryen, and the dear friend of Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen. Carey's turn as Alicent Hightower has provided some of the best scenes of the season thus far, but considering the morally questionable circumstances that align Alicent with the Targaryen king, Carey was understandably apprehensive to take on the challenging role.
At the time of reading the script for "House of the Dragon," Carey was only 17. They were 18 by the time filming started, but the age gap between Carey and 47-year-old Paddy Considine, who plays Viserys, is considerable. According to an interview with Newsweek (via Variety), Carey noted that this age gap almost kept them from pursuing the role,...

“Bridgerton” Season 2 has broken the record for most-viewed show in a week among Netflix’s English TV series, per the streaming service’s newly released weekly Top 10 list.
While “Squid Game” still holds the overall record for most-viewed show on Netflix in general across a seven-day period, with 571.76 million hours viewed, the second season of “Bridgerton” racked up 251.74 million hours viewed for the week of March 28 to April 3 — its first full week on the streaming service. Previously, “Inventing Anna” held the title for most-watched English-language series over a single week with 196 million hours viewed.
Close behind “Bridgerton” Season 2 on the Top 10 was “Bridgerton” Season 1, which was the No. 2 English-language title on Netflix last week, with 53 million hours viewed. In third place was new competition series “Is It Cake?”
On the film side, per Netflix: “After four weeks, ‘The Adam Project’ stayed atop the English Films list with 17.72M hours viewed...

In its third week at #1, “Spider-Man: No Way Home” (Sony/19.99) leads VOD charts at iTunes and Google Play (by transactions) and Vudu (by revenue). In more than 18 months of charting VOD play, it ties “Free Guy” (Disney) and “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” as the only titles to achieve triple-week dominance.
It’s likely to continue. Just as Sony’s MCU smash fended off all challengers for several weeks in theaters, expect the same here.
The hunger for new films is evidenced by “Moonfall” (Lionsgate/19.99) taking the #2 and #3 slots on all charts. The early February Roland Emmerich-directed release, which the company acquired for U.S. rights for a small portion of its reported 150 million production budget, bombed in domestic theaters with only 19 million in grosses. Still, audiences were curious enough to pay the 19.99 initial PVOD price long after it left theaters.

The wait for “Bridgerton” Season 2 is over at last. As usual, Netflix has a robust lineup of new movies and shows streaming in March, including the return of the lusty Shondaland Regency romance series that left audiences swooning after Season 1 debuted in December 2021.
Other new shows on Netflix this month include the thriller series “Pieces of Her” starring Bella Heathcote and Toni Collette as a mother-daughter duo contending with the mother’s past after a shocking act of violence uncover long-hidden secrets. Also debuting this month is the “Big Mouth” spinoff “Human Resources,” which “pulls back the curtain on the daily lives of the creatures – Hormone Monsters, Depression Kitties, Shame Wizards, and many more – that help humans journey through every aspect of life from puberty to childbirth to the twilight years.”
