When the creator of a virtual reality world called the OASIS dies, he releases a video in which he challenges all OASIS users to find his Easter Egg, which will give the finder his fortune.
The film also marks the first Warner Bros. Pictures production since Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007) to be co-produced by DreamWorks Pictures. In one of the early scenes, during the reveal of the interior of Wade's secret van hidden under a bunch of crushed cars, he hooks up the battery while narrating about living with his aunt Alice and you can see a shadow cut across the light beam hitting his leg. The shadow doesn't completely clear the beam of light before it comes to a stop, still leaving shadow. In addition, a fully obscured van wouldn't have that much light coming in through the windows.
The title doesn't appear till about 10 minutes into the movie
