After the Bergens invade Troll Village, Poppy, the happiest Troll ever born, and the curmudgeonly Branch set off on a journey to rescue her friends.
The scene where prince Gristle rides his tricycle through the halls of the castle looks a lot like Danny Torrance riding his tricycle through the Overlook Hotel in The Shining (1980).
Branch: No, thank you.
Poppy: For what?
Branch: For showing me how to be happy.
When Poppy says "Bridget! Stop! You're in love with King Gristle," there is no way she could have known Bridget's name at that time.
SPOILER: There is a scene in the closing credits: the serving cart with Chef and Creek on it stops in the middle of nowhere. Chef tries to eat Creek, but they get eaten by a monster together.
