The construction of the R.M.S. Titanic at the Harland and Wolff shipyard in Belfast against the background of union riots, political and religious conflicts, and a romance between a young ambitious engineer and an Italian immigrant.
One of the Irish passengers, Patrick A. O'Keefe, was a young man who boarded the Titanic when he was twenty-one-years-old of. Just a few days before he entered the Titanic, he had horrific dreams of the ship sinking and nearly cancelled his ticket. However, he decided to board on the ship anyway. Once the Titanic was sinking, he managed to survive on the "collapsible B" life raft. He died in 1939 in Manhattan from unknown causes at the age of forty-eight.
At the end of episode 12 on board the Titanic, a movie producer lights Kitty's cigarette with a Zippo lighter. The first Zippo lighter was produced in 1932 and the patent was not issued until 1936.
