The main character of Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball, Goku, has gone through multiple power-ups over the years, but the most interesting one among them was the fusion technique. It allowed Goku to fuse with his supporting character, Vegeta, who is also a powerful Saiyan, giving them a combination of their overall abilities and strengths.
Fusion Dance
Goku and Vegeta can perform two types of fusion, which result in two different beings with extraordinary strength. The first one is Vegito, and the second one is Gogeta. While Vegito made an appearance during the fight against Super Buu, Gogeta was a non-canonical character for a long time, but ultimately he was introduced in Dragon Ball Super: Broly.
One of Toriyama’s interviews was published in Dragon Ball Daizenshuu 6: Movies & TV Specials, where he talked about the introduction of fusion in the series and how it started as a joke but...

‘Star Wars: The Acolyte’ is the next most anticipated thing in the Star Wars universe. This is the first live-action show set in the High Republic era, and it’s groundbreaking because it will “sort of” portray the Jedi as the bad guys, due to them being an overwhelming systemic force in that specific time period.
We’ve learned a lot about the show in the past few weeks since the trailer dropped. Most about its influences. The show was pitched as “Frozen meets Kill Bill” and it has a lot of influences from Samurai and Wuxia films, which will lead to some very promising action scenes.
Now a lot of fans never really checked out the rest of the Star Wars beyond just live-action films and shows, as Leslye Headland also explained that High Republic books were a major influence, even adapting some characters to the big screen.

The trailer for ‘Star Wars: The Acolyte’ recently debuted, hinting at plenty of action, a promise echoed by creator Leslye Headland in various media appearances.
Headland described ‘Acolyte’ as a blend of ‘Frozen’ and ‘Kill Bill’, drawing influence from Wuxia and Samurai genres. The trailer showcased this fusion, and Headland emphasized how ‘Acolyte’ will depict Jedi outnumbering Sith for the first time in the franchise’s history.
Although the ‘High Republic’ books serve as the main inspiration for the show, there are also many references to the prequel and sequel trilogies. In her latest interview, Dafne Keen, set to portray Jecki Lon, assured fans that the show’s action scenes will rival some of the franchise’s most memorable moments.
Yeah, that was a very frequent conversation we had. “It was very much: We want to top the Darth Maul fight — the most iconic fight, I think, in the Star Wars cinematic universe.

Invincible ended its second season with a bang. In the classic Multiverse of Madness-style, there is an entire sequence where Mark is thrown from one universe to another, each having some or the other Easter egg. From Spider-Man showing up in the form of Agent Spider, who was fighting Prof. Ock, to Invincible making fun of Batman’s name on a rooftop, this part of the episode was fun, to say the least.
Invincible
On top of these references, there was also a universe plagued with zombies, making a not-so-subtle nod to just how many people from The Walking Dead are a part of the series. One would assume that one of these three cameos would be favored by the show’s creator, Robert Kirkman. However, it would seem that something else had him a lot more excited; a split-second cameo of a gun.

Although many critics were skeptical of "House of the Dragon," arguing that the finale of "Game of Thrones" was so horrendous that it may have killed any audience interest in another TV show set in the same universe, the 2022 spinoff's first season was a pretty clear success. It was so good, in fact, that it's now paved the way for a new spinoff series, once again set in Westeros during the Targaryens' reign.

HBO has found its Dunk and Egg.
The network has cast actors for the lead roles of its Game of Thrones prequel series Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight.
Peter Claffey (Vikings: Valhalla) and Dexter Sol Ansell (who recently portrayed Young Coriolanus Snow in The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes) have been cast.
The logline: “A century before the events of Game of Thrones, two unlikely heroes wandered Westeros … a young, naïve but courageous knight, Ser Duncan the Tall (Claffey), and his diminutive squire, Egg (Ansell). Set in an age when the Targaryen line still holds the Iron Throne, and the memory of the last dragon has not yet passed from living memory, great destinies, powerful foes, and dangerous exploits all await these improbable and incomparable friends.”

It’s been less than a week since Capcom released Dragon’s Dogma 2 and the game has already been making news for the game’s several unnecessary micro-transactions. Micro-transactions are known to hurt the overall experience for gamers who cannot always pay to get the items needed for a quick win or to find a way to quickly travel in-game.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 has now added a new way to hurt players in the form of a plague that hurts the pawns, who follow players throughout the game, leading to the deaths of NPCs in hordes, and has eventually become an important topic of discussion surrounding the game.

While the plot remains mostly mysterious, fans are thrilled that ‘The Acolyte’ will explore the High Republic Era, a new frontier for live-action storytelling in the franchise.
Despite this unique setting, ‘The Acolyte’ marks only the second show set in this era, following the conclusion of ‘Young Jedi Adventures.’ From what Headland has shared, ‘Acolyte’ promises to offer a fresh perspective. Dragon’s Dogma 2, the sequel to Capcom’s 2012 action-rpg, opened to glowing praise from reviewers, scoring an 87 on Metacritic overall. The game’s Steam debut also hit a peak concurrent player count of over 184,000, breaking Capcom’s records as their most successful singleplayer launch on the platform.
However, this initial burst of enthusiasm quickly turned sour as players were hit with performance issues bred from poor optimization and, worst of all, a smattering of microtransactions.

‘Star Wars: The Acolyte’ has been in the making for a long time, but this week plenty of announcements have been made with the show’s first public trailer being released. Little is known about the plot of the show, but most fans are excited by the fact that ‘The Acolyte’ will be taking place during the High Republic Era, something previously unseen in live action.

Watch too many movies and chances are you can predict the outcome within the opening minutes. Wuxia can feel often feel like this and so the enjoyment comes in the journey and not always the destination, as satisfying that inevitable confrontation might be. “The Swordsman of all Swordsmen” thus comes as a surprise with a twist in the expectations that focuses on the honor and chivalry as much as the notions of revenge. It's a perfect opportunity to revisit it with Eureka Entertainment releasing a restored version onto Blu-ray.

On March 1, 2024, the legendary creator of "Dragon Ball," Akira Toriyama, passed away at the age of 68. It is legitimately impossible to encapsulate how influential and beloved Toriyama's work has become, but his epic tale of an aspiring martial artist named Goku who discovers magical wish-granting Dragon Balls became the definitive shōnen battle manga. Its follow-up series "Dragon Ball Z" would become an international sensation and served as one of the gateways to Japanese animation for audiences in the West.
I can only speak from my own experience, but "Sailor Moon," "Gundam Wing," and "Dragon Ball Z" were the holy trinity of animation for me as a kid, and I know I'm not alone. I was fortunate enough to catch random episodes of "Sailor Moon" on the USA Network, but everything changed when it was added to the Toonami programming block on Cartoon Network (later Adult Swim) that would completely change my life.

The How to Train Your Dragon films have been one of the most beloved animated film franchises. The adventures of Hiccup and the emotional payoff with the final 2019 film was such a great end to the franchise. Elden Ring is a game of different builds. If they understand this game better, every player out there would have a unique build of their own. And each of those builds would be very effective and allow them to make quick work out of numerous enemies. But sometimes, some gamers come with a build that makes things much better for them, like being able to kill Mohg in seconds, for instance.
A YouTuber has come up with a very similar build. And they have also suggested that players should try going for a strength build instead of dexterity for bleed damage. And this build seems somewhat effective, no doubt.
Here’s how one can create a powerful strength build.

It's been a few months since Netflix has given us any updates on "Damsel," the upcoming fantasy thriller starring Millie Bobby Brown, but today we've finally been gifted a new look at the film and, of course, that dragon. The first trailer kept things mum, with Mbb staying completely silent throughout, emphasizing the action, spectacle, and gorgeous costuming. Netflix first presented the film with the tagline "This is Not a fairy tale," and today's new trailer looks like "Damsel" will be subverting all the typical tropes we associate with tales of princesses and larger-than-life beasts. Here's the official synopsis from Netflix:

HBO is returning to Westeros!
The network that made history with Game of Thrones and experienced comparatively moderate success with the spinoff House of the Dragon is now developing a third series based in the medieval fantasy world of author George R.R. Martin.
The Hollywood Reporter revealed this week that HBO has greenlit a project with the reported working title of Aegon's Conquest.
The story of the first Aegon Targaryen will be familiar to diehard GoT fans.
(Although those who watched the first two series more casually can be forgiven if that name no longer rings a bell. There's an awful lot of lore in this franchise!)
Basically, Aegon I is the guy who began the process of uniting the Seven Kingdoms when he made a dragon-back flight from Old Valyria with his sister-wives Rhaenys and Viseyna.
Aptly known as Aegon the Conqueror, this founder of the Targaryen dynasty is frequently name-dropped by other characters,...

It can’t be denied that as far as martial arts movies go, the best ones come from Asia, particularly Hong Kong during their action heyday, which was arguably the 70s, 80s and first half of the ’90s. That said, martial arts movies were also making a foothold in the States at the time, thanks mainly to Bruce Lee-mania following the release of Enter the Dragon. Before that movie, very few actors in Hollywood seemed like they were credible martial artists, except maybe James Coburn, a student of Lee’s, who pulled off some pretty good-looking moves in the otherwise silly Our Man Flint movies. Steve McQueen also had training but didn’t use martial arts on screen.
Up to then, though, the most notable uses of martial arts in movies usually revolved around Judo, with James Cagney showing off some good moves in the film Blood on the Sun,...

All images were taken by Daryl Harding from the PlayStation 5 version. Code provided by Sega. The last 12 months have been very good for Like a Dragon fans. Starting with Like a Dragon: Ishin! last February, developers Ryu Ga Gotoku have graced us with three titles to play, all better than the last.
