The story of the legendary British rock band Queen and lead singer Freddie Mercury, leading up to their famous performance at Live Aid (1985).
When the production was filming at the famous Rockfield Farm Studios in Wales where Queen had recorded their 1975 album "A Night at the Opera" that included "Bohemian Rhapsody," Ben Hardy had the rare privilege of playing Roger Taylor's original tom-tom drums that had been used on the actual album recording. According to Ben, this was one of the highlights of his experience on the shoot.

When Freddie is looking through the London phone book for Jim Hutton's number, it lists phone numbers as starting '01 7946 xxxx', however, back in the 70s/80s, the format would've been 01 xxx xxxx (before the London number change from 01 became 071/081 and then 0171/0181 before finally becoming 020 7/8).
The New Regency Pictures logo features a brief "Hey hey hey hey!" This is Freddie Mercury's actual voice from Live Aid (1985) (it comes before the song "Hammer to Fall").
