Play the game!!! The anime adaptation is horribly embarrassing. I can't quite grasp how they managed to transform a wonderful story into something so painful to watch... it's worse than Ratatoing, if you can imagine that. This anime lacks coherence, the story line doesn't quite follow the game's. The characters are linear and lack life (and sometimes don't resemble their game counterparts). The animation is really awkward and gets you distracted (you can get tricked by watching the intro; it seems they put more effort into it than all the episodes combined). The pacing was off at all times - it was either dragging on for too long with unnecessary details or moving way too fast through rather important moments. The only thing true to the game is Midorikawa Hikaru's voice acting. Run away from this D:
