A little girl lives in a very grown-up world with her mother, who tries to prepare her for it. Her neighbor, the Aviator, introduces the girl to an extraordinary world where anything is possible, the world of the Little Prince.
The film made history in Brazil by becoming the first non-American animation to top the box office in the country. It topped the Brazilian chart for three consecutive weeks, gathering over 2 million admissions.
Mr. Prince: Take your hands off her.
The Businessman: What? Stop?
Mr. Prince: I-I'm not a failure.
The Businessman: Oh?

The mother tears the story pages in two halfway through the movie, however when she hands the old man the book at the end, there is no evidence of their ever having been torn.
One of few movies where the end credits scroll downwards (instead of upwards), so that the title of each department is at the bottom of the list of people in that department.
