- Hits from most weapons will result in a small and faint splash of blood.
- One scene includes a severed arm on the floor. Lara is disgusted by it and moves on.
- Some very graphic death animations. Lara can be impaled through the neck by rebar during a siding set piece, and a tree branch during a parachuting set piece. At one point, she can be brutally killed by wolves.
- Many violent killing animations. Takedowns are often brutal, the most notable being the finisher you use on a boss when Lara impales him in the neck with her climbing pickaxe, resulting in a large blood spurt.
