Sex & Nudity

  • Billy's wife wears quite revealing cloting through out the film.
  • Ring girls are seen wearing bikinis
  • Some ring girls are shown in skimpy clothing.
  • A man and woman kiss passionately on top of each other. There's no nudity, but the woman lifts her dress and her underwear is shown; however, the lighting is dark and nothing graphic is shown. Sex is implied.
  • A woman is seen in a bra and underwear covered by an open robe in several brief shots.
  • A man is shown naked sitting on the floor of a locker shower, but no nudity is shown.
  • There is no nudity -- male or female.
  • A man says that he is going to "take" another man's wife. His exact meaning is not clear -- he could mean "steal her away."

Violence & Gore

  • This film is pretty dark for a sports drama. It tells the story about a boxer who loses everything after witnessing the shooting death of his wife. Some scenes in this movie are quite emotional.
  • Someone is unexpectedly killed. While it is not bloody or gory, it can be very sad and somewhat disturbing.
  • Watching bloodied boxers struggle to stand up can be disturbing for young viewers.
