Most of the film was shot in East LA, with the locals as great part of the extra casting.

The production designer department had more than 50 fake guns at the beginning of the film, and no more that 20 last until the end.

The director decided to shoot the shoot-out scene of the end first. It took 2 days to complete the last scene of the film. The warehouse that the scene was shot, was covered with fake corn syrup blood.
