I loved this show, and can't wait for season 2 later this year. I felt I could relate because my grandparents' parents were from Asia Minor, and had to escape Turkish occupation.
At times, I almost cried because of how dramatic and deep some scenes were. I must say, out of season 1, episode 2 for me was the saddest, where Chatzi-Christina became ill and almost forgot where she was.
I also loved it because it gave me another viewpoint on St Paisios, and allowed me to deepen my Orthodox faith.
One thing I wonder about this show is how the second season will be structured. Will it continue from where the story left, or venture on an entirely different part of St Paisios' life?
