During a recent installment of the CBS game show, the host made some “sharp” comments about one of the items a contestant could win.

Announcer George Gray revealed that the contestant on stage, Lisa, could win three prizes in her game.

“We are gonna start off with some excitement,” George said before dramatically announcing, “It’s a new pencil sharpener!”

“Yes!” Drew yelled as George continued describing the prize, which featured an auto-shutoff and would light up when finished.

Meanwhile, the long-awaited second season of “Perry Mason” is upon us with a debut on March 6, while “The Last of Us” wraps up its acclaimed first season on March 12. And the Oscar-nominated documentary “All the Beauty and the Bloodshed” makes its streaming debut on March 19.

There’s nothing quite like when HBO is airing one of its trademark watercooler-worthy dramas weekly. Thankfully, we’ll get to it experience exactly that and more on HBO Max in March 2023.

The big ticket item on HBO Max this March is undoubtedly Succession Season 4 on March 26. Part prestige drama and part screwball comedy, Succession is about as fun a watch as they come. Season 4 of the series about egregious wealth will find the Roy siblings reeling after trying and failing to take down their father, Logan (Brian Cox).

HBO Max’s other major TV option this month is another weekly release from HBO. Matthew Rhys returns as the titular lawyer in Perry Mason Season 2 on March 6. Season 1 of this period piece reboot flexed the classic TV character’s detective skills. From the look of the trailer, it seems as though this is the year Perry makes his name in the court room.

HBO Max’s new additions in March 2023 will feature the season finale of a hit series, the return of another award-winning show, and plenty of classic movies for the streamer’s library. February 2023 saw the streaming premieres of Oscar nominees Empire of Light and HBO documentary All That Breathes. The month also brought the releases of the holiday special Harley Quinn: A Very Problematic Valentine’s Day Special and Last Week Tonight with John Oliver season 10. Additionally, HBO Max’s February and March streaming titles include two 2023 Best Picture nominees: Elvis and The Banshees of Inisherin.

Coming to HBO Max in March 2023 is the highly-anticipated premiere of Succession season 4 (March 26). Derek Hough is expanding his already lengthy relationship with ABC.

The six-time “Dancing With the Stars” winner, who recently returned as a judge for this season, has inked an overall deal with ABC Entertainment. Under this new agreement, Hough will host and develop specials and entertainment programming for the network.

“Coming home to ABC and being given the opportunity to develop projects for them that are as much on brand for them as they are for me makes this even that more exciting for me,” said Hough.

News of his deal comes just one week after the season 29 debut of “Dancing With the Stars,” and just over a year after Hough signed a first-look deal with Universal Television. At the time, Hough was a judge on “World of Dance,” but sources say he is no longer under that pact.

Dancing With The Stars new judge Derek Hough is to host and develop a range of entertainment projects with ABC Entertainment after striking an overall deal with the broadcaster.

This comes after Hough recently returned to the ABC fold. Hough was a professional dancer on Dancing With The Stars between 2007 and 2016 before he left to become a judge on NBC’s World of Dance.

The overall deal will see him work with the network on specials and entertainment programming. He is the latest new Dancing With The Stars family member to strike a deal with the Walt Disney-owned company – host Tyra Banks set a first-look deal with production arm ABC Signature last month.

A two-time Emmy Award winner and nine-time Emmy nominee, Hough has also featured as an actor in The Disney Family Singalong, made his feature film debut in Make Your Move and had a recurring role on Nashville.

“This really isn’t dance-related,” Hough tells TVLine, noting that other roles he’s had — the comedy Better With You, the upcoming film Make Your Move — allowed him to fall back on decades of training in fancy footwork. “This is the first one where it’s straight acting.”

It’s ironic, then, that Hough plays a hotshot Hollywood stud who crosses paths with neophyte actress Juliette.

South Korean studio Cj E&M has announced English-language dance romance Make Your Move has sold to 54 countries for a total of $6.3m to date.

Territories include Russia-cis (West), Hong Kong (Sundream), Belgium (Beneluxe), UAE (Gulf Film) and Netherlands (Benelux Film Investments).

Starring K-pop diva BoA, the film is co-produced by Cj E&M, Sm Entertainment, and Robert Cort Productions.

With sales handled by Lionsgate, the film has already been released in 14 countries and will have its North American release handled by High Top on April 18. Cj E&M is set to release the film in Korea on April 17.

Directed by Duane Adler, the film features BoA as star-crossed lovers with Dancing With The Stars pro Derek Hough in New York’s underground club world.

We've lightened up our coverage of BBC America's "Orphan Black" as it's really more sci-fi/thriller than pure horror, but since it does fit in our wheelhouse a bit, we thought we'd share the news of its renewal for another season.

BBC America has renewed highly acclaimed original series "Orphan Black" for a second season to return as part of Supernatural Saturday in 2014. Derek Hough has said that it "feels great" to be back on Dancing with the Stars following his brief break from the show. The professional dancer chose not to appear in season 12 of the ABC dance competition in order to focus on other work commitments including his role in the movie Cobu 3D, but returned for the current 13th season. Speaking to TV Guide about his return to the dance floor with current partner Ricki Lake, he said: " [The premiere] was wonderful. It was great to receive that sort of response. That's why I love live audiences so much. "It's the instant response and gratification of the hard work you've done. They stood up and cheered. I was telling Ricki, 'Isn't this wonderful?'. Dancing with the Stars has revealed its celebrity/professional dancer pairings for the upcoming season. Derek Hough, Mark Ballas, Karina Smirnoff and Cheryl Burke are among the professional dancers who will coach this season's famous faces in their bid to win the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy in the season finale. Derek Hough is keeping his promise and returning to 'Dancing With the Stars' this fall.

The pro dancer took this year's spring session off to explore acting and shoot an indie film, but the 26-year-old told People magazine of the upcoming fall season, "I will be back!"

Hough won the mirrorball trophy two seasons in a row before taking season 12 off to shoot the dance movie 'Cobu 3D,' for which he gained 10 pounds of muscle. The dancer-turned-actor said in January, "I'm just taking a little break and taking this chance to grow and expand a little bit as an artist."

As for his perspective after his hiatus, he said, "It was good for me to take a season off and see what he audience sees. It gave me a new boost and inspiration to want to do some great things.

Following quickly on the news that Michael Jackson's This Is It director and original Dirty Dancing choreographer Kenny Ortega is helming the Dirty Dancing remake, we're now starting to hear trickles of who may be cast in the film.

At the top of the list for Patrick Swayze's Johnny Castle is Derek Hough, best known as one of the dancers on Dancing with the Stars. Hough is set to make his feature film acting debut with the upcoming Cobu 3D, which centers on two star-crossed dancers who find themselves at the center of a bitter rivalry between their brothers' competing underground dance clubs.

Cheryl Cole is said to have shown just how much she cares for Derek Hough this week, when he celebrated his 26th birthday.

The Dancing With The Stars professional is currently in Canada, shooting his new movie Cobu 3D and was woken on Tuesday morning by a phonecall from the X Factor judge in which she crooned Happy Birthday to him.

She also bought her rumoured boyfriend an expensive snowboard, because he had been complaining about feeling old and when he got to his dressing room on the set of the film, waiting for him was a basket containing more goodies, including CDs, DVDs, a framed picture of the pair and a sushi cookbook with a note reading: “Now you can make me dinner every night!”

 Derek joined the show in Season 5 and has appeared in every season since. He opted out of participating on the hit ABC show's twelfth season. Most of the other pros have returned, so what is the handsome blonde up to?

Derek, 25, is set to star in the new movie "Cobu 3D," which is hitting theaters in 2012. The film goes into production next month, which would make it impossible for Hough to have enough time for both the show and the movie. The new "Dancing With the Stars" contestants have been paired up with their professional partners. Chaplin is stepping in for Derek Hough, who's taking this season off to film the movie "Cobu 3D."

The X Factor judge and her dancing boyfriend were snapped looking all loved up in South Africa just one month ago, but now things are said to be ‘rocky’ between the stars.

The situation won’t be helped by the enforced distance between them. Derek will be spending a lot of time in New York and Toronto after landing a role in the film Cobu 3D, while Cheryl is currently in the UK but will most likely be in La soon if she lands the American X Factor job.
