  • A bit overstretched drama comedy in everyday-life exposure but Nawapol surely knew how to put yourself in his characters' shoes. Nat & Yaya defined challenges of becoming adults really well. Those movie references galore will draw laughs from film buffs.
  • One of the better movies GDH has produced in recent times. Solid storytelling, and eventually some decent character development. I wouldn't be surprised if this movie doesn't do well with a younger audience-doesn't cater to current trends, like so many other Thai movies for a younger crowd do these days.
  • There's absolutely nothing action about this movie, it's straight up romcom and I absolutely love it. It's funny, the main acts did extremely well. I loved the story even though it's not quite universal. Whoever came up the drama effect was brilliant and even though I had to keep reading the subtitles to keep up, I still managed to enjoy the movie because of the funny edits. This is definitely something worth watching on a Sunday afternoon. Kudos to the team.

Now am going to fill the up with stuff just to meet the required characters. I don't know why IMDb thought this was necessary, they really need to either lower the required characters or just get rid of it completely. Thank you.
  • An original storyline, with a really great sense of humor, and also a few moments that almost made me cry. A story about people achieving their dreams, and wasting their time doing it, and all for the best!

I wish more movies made nowadays were this good. A living proof of why western cinema is almost dead.

This is a rom-com that tackles reality of adulthood full of obstacles while still be lighthearted. The movie starts out with a classic expectation of Thai students, and the way adult crushes students' non-traditional hope and dream. And from that we learn about our lead's dream of being a competitive cup-stacker, and the journey to be the fastest cup-stacker.

Unfortunately, that journey included plenty of side-tracking in life, like partner's relationship, family (his mother owns a noodle shop), making a living using his skill, living environments and various chores. All in all, the parts of life that need to be fulfilled, just to continue living his dream.

Yes, there are plenty of parody and imitating filmography from Marvel (the music and scene) to Parasyte (yes, the butlers and maid for the family) to Fast&Furious (if you listen closely to the song lyric and scene shots). There is even an intentional play on English subtitle, where the word is opposite of what it was said. I will say, this film is much more enjoyable when you can understand both Thai and English, while being able to recognize various parody.

Like any good movie that gives us more than seen in the trailer. This film asks us to reflect on ourselves - the value, the belief, and what we take for granted.
  • I picked up the 2022 Thai movie "Fast & Feel Love" because it was an Asian movie that I hadn't already seen, and since it was labeled as a comedy on the cover, I figured that was what I would be in for.

Turns out that there wasn't really a speck of comedy to the storyline here. In fact, the movie's script and storyline, as written by writer and director Nawapol Thamrongrattanarit just fell short of entertaining me. And running at 132 minutes, then this movie was a bitter pill to swallow. I managed to endure 61 minutes of the ordeal, then I just gave up on the movie out of sheer and utter boredom.

First of all, the script didn't come off as being the least bit funny, so already there was the movie losing momentum. Then the fact that nothing interesting happened in the 61 minutes that I suffered through just didn't really help to make it an enjoyable movie either. And a movie about sport stacking? Well, that hardly qualifies as great entertainment to me.

I wasn't familiar with the cast ensemble in the movie, but they did indeed have some talented actors and actresses on the cast list. Just a shame that they were given very little to work with in terms of a proper script and characters.

I have zero intentions of returning to finish watching "Fast & Feel Love" because the movie was a swing and a miss.

My rating of writer and director Nawapol Thamrongrattanarit's 2022 movie "Fast & Feel Love" lands on a generous three out of ten stars.

It gave me some Amélie (2001) vibes with a little of Spike Jonze's Her (2013) in the end.

Outstanding: Comedy, Directing, Acting, Soundtrack, Script... I could go on and on...

It's a movie about growing up, relationships, love, family, work, dreams and everything in between.

It gave me laughs and tears.

There's absolute nothing I'd change or I feel like it needs more work.

One of the best movies I've seen this year.

    Cheers.
  • Warning: Spoilers
Weak plot and random insertions here and there that distracted the flow of the protagonist's goal ( stack sport champion). One of the cringed insertions was the imitation of the Parasite Oscar movie. I supposed it was intended to be a joke, but the length of the screen time and the degree of similarity became too embarrassingly obvious and felt disrespectful. It might get a pass as a comedy but this scene was cheap.

I think the trailer and the beginning of the movie were also misleading. At the beginning it focused on Gao's stack sport development, then abandoned this theme and focused on the drama around Jay's life. This was ok until it became imbalanced. The rest of the story strayed aside from the main plot+characters (Gao&Jay). The sudden show of Gao-his mother relationship felt irrelevant.

I gave the credit to Jay (played by Yaya) who did an impressive job at acting. It's a shame though that Jay's character wasn't developed to play more intellectual+helpful role to the Stack Sport than to be just a housewife. I'd love to see Jay's involvement with the game's analysis or competitor analysis (considered that she was a smart girl in the movie).

Unfortunately, I couldn't continue till the end of the movie. But by far it was disappointing.
  • Kind of ridiculous. Not really my cup of tea at all. The only good think about this movie is that sensation Milli made a brief cameo. There Nothing else.
  • To be short and to the point without any complicated content angles. The movie has been tagged under Comedy which is a huge to the word comedy itself, I don't why people would do that as this movie has nothing to do with comedy.

I literally sat focused for this movie for 10 long mins, and I was like asleep in my chair. No useful comedy of whatsoever and.

Its just lame and lamer as you watch it.

The people who are rating this 10 may be its high time to get your brains checked as it seems that you have totally lost the meaning of the word movie. Its a cinema that should be a cinema and not a joke.
