Nica Noelle brings her filmmaking talent to Girlfriends Films with this 2-part saga of a teen becoming a lesbian.
Here we have a gripping screenplay fleshed out with acting, in place of the label's usual improvisation. It makes all the difference in creating story/character-driven entertainment.
Faye is banished from her small town by her family after being caught in the act of making love to her busty volleyball coach Juliana Jolene. She arrives in L.A. and is hired by Euro beauty Angel Dark to work at a trucking company, where she has an affair with Angel, while Angel also beds Juliana when JJ visits Faye, both of them temporarily taking lodging in Dark's home. Later, she is befriend by client Sam Ryan, beginning a new relationship with her and poised on a possible new Hollywood career through Sam's show biz contacts.
With Part 2 to look forward too, this is a sensitive and quite arousing depiction of Sapphic love buoyed by an exceptional, mainly top-heavy femme cast.
