Bugs gives both his and Daffy's birthdays as July 27th and April 17th, respectively. Daffy's first appearance in a cartoon was in "Porky's Duck Hunt" which premiered on April 17th, 1937 and, while a white rabbit had appeared in earlier cartoons, Warner Bros. considers "A Wild Hare", which premiered July 27th, 1940 with a gray rabbit, to be Bugs' debut role and so mark it as his birthday.

When Bugs and Daffy return home from the game show and Bugs exits his car, the colors on his tail are reversed.
