  • Warning: Spoilers
I'm a big Diana DeVoe fan: I enjoyed her acting back in the old VHS West Coast Productions days (when "Booty Talk" had yet to reach volume 100), and have been following her work right through current camera activities on Nica Noelle's Gay and Transsexual features. Here she struts her stuff in writing and directing girl/girl action, with fine results.

Story has become dated just five years later, as it concerns Zoe Voss's impending wedding to Wolf Hudson (still a frequent flier in Gay and Transsexul assignments, too). Had Diana made the film this year it would have been rewritten as a Girl/Girl wedding.

Lengthy opening scene has the cast assembled with four ethnic bridesmaids (3 Black and one Oriental) who have a fun time playing party games like bob the apple and pass the dildo (latter with one's feet no less) and improvising in high spirits. Unfortunately, the powers that be at Girlfriends Films don't give them any screen credits, as usual -you have to go XXX to merit such a nod. I didn't recognize them by mere sight.

Leaving the party early is Voss's cute friend Chastity Lynn and fan favorite Darla Crane who seems to be her possessive mother. However, when they get home we discover they are actually a lesbian couple with Darla having a great time barking orders and punishing her young slave Chastity. Their extended BDSM session is expertly performed, drawing upon Crane's prior career as top fetish performer and relevant to this movie, experienced at sexual spanking. No surprise to the fans when Lynn indulges her anal specialty as Crane dons a strap-on dildo and the great camera-work makes it look just like a real cock in closeup from behind.

Main storyline follows this red-blooded opener, with somewhat typecast schemer Dana DeArmond forcing Ash Hollywood to have sex with her, after photographing Ash's innocent kiss with BFF Zoe after the party - it looks a lot worse on Dana's cell phone than the reality, as she and Zoe went no further. Dana delivers a red-hot scene, with plenty of emphasis on foot fetish variations: sucking toes, rubbing feet against a vagina and chugging Ash's foot down her throat as far as it will go.

After we're introduced at the dinner table to groom-to-be Wolf, and discover he's Dana's brother, plot thickens with Zoe going to bed and masturbating, dreaming of having sex with Ash. That fans-desired sequence is hurt by an unwise DeVoe decision to shoot the entire dream/fantasy in soft focus, when it should have switched to normal visual clarity soon after being introduced.

Finale has Dana predictably dominating some more, seducing Zoe rather unconvincingly with more threats of blackmail. This and the previous dramaturgy is a bit much, though the resulting humping bails out one's qualms over how we got there. In a more conventional screenplay Wolf would have a much more significant role, and the current DeVoe might fashion an outré screenplay where Zoe (or Wolf for that matter) could have found out the new spouse was a transsexual on their wedding night!
