Most "Pure Taboo" stories are designed to leave a bad taste in the viewer's mouth, not only because they are in bad taste but also because they tend to celebrate negativity. House scriptwriter Midnight delivers the usual formula material, but it manages to deliver a form of happy endings, if hardly uplifting of course -remember, this is "taboo" territory.
Title vignette suffers from serious miscasting: imagine Tommy Pistol as Mr. Nice Guy. He saves sympathetic Paige Owens who is being bullied by his daughter (mean girl teen Harmony Wonder) and her friends who mercilessly ridicule and taunt poor Paige. Then he manages to seduce her, and oddly becomes so romantic that he pledges (after his money shot on her ass) to divorce his wife, leave Harmony and dedicate himself only to her.
Supporting segment is titled "Their Wicked Ways", a corny version of the typical anti-repressive religion trope of many a porn tale. Elexis Monroe and John Strong (porn stars whose careers date back a couple of decades), play step-parents to lovely young Kyler Quinn. The modern version of an "obscene phone call" has Kyler receiving via sexting a wrong number photo of an erect penis on her cell phone. Instead of deleting it, she becomes obsessed with it, and uses it to stimulate masturbation.
Religioso mom Monroe catches her in the act of pleasuring herself and takes away the phone, bawling out the teen and pledging to fink on her to daddy, for punishment. Later, Kyler finds the phone in mom's bedroom, with the photo still intact, and uses that fact for sexual blackmail to get Monroe to give her some incestuous lesbian love. Punch line is Strong catching the two of them humping, and his easily being seduced into an instant threesome.
As usual for a Craven Moorehead-directed show, the characters' actions are not believable, merely sex workers having sex on cue, with Kyler acting way out of character just for XXX effect. But all three are happy with each other at the end, their religious prudishness thrown out with the bathwater.
