So close to my experience of 2 parents who died with dementia; beautifully shot in Quebec countryside which is actually familiar to us. A longish film, but held our attention well- some of the war footage as well as those with the ailing father are very raw.

Poses interesting questions about war reporting (and what is happening in Afghanistan), long distance relationships, alcoholism, and most of all how we treat elderly people with dementia.

Loved every minute (saw it in Dieppe as part of Canadian film festival, subtitled into English).

Felicitations aux acteurs et la redaction.
