An inspiring look at JK Rowling's rise to become one of the most influential writers-from her humble beginnings as an imaginative young girl and awkward teenager to the loss of her mother and the genesis of the Harry Potter phenomenon.
In the final scene, J.K. Rowling wears a poppy, presumably because she was at an early November event. She is wearing a Canadian poppy with a modern black centre, instead of a UK poppy or a mid 90's Canadian poppy with a green centre.
What do you think, will you ever see Harry Potter in there? Not bloody likely.
When she is turned down by Oxford, Joanne's father suggests she go instead to Exeter which is "a good school." Exeter is a university and universities in England are not called "schools" (although some of them call their separate faculties schools, such as the "School of Medicine".)
