As far the depiction of the life of prehistoric human go there are no shortage of material with movies, series and even comics (!) giving some spins to that model. Now there all good and the best and most accurate are few and far in between, with the most notable been the movie Quest for Fire, the documentaries Walking with Cavemen, Becoming Human and Mankind's Family tree as far as I can recall. This is not one of them and it is a total piece of crap.
Firstly why make the homo sapiens speech English? To show who much evolved we are, bitch please this is the idea of a ten year old about the human kid. Secondary why try to give half heart ed feminist messages in a documentary about PREHISTORY? It simple doesn't add up. Thirdly why not to do more than 2 episodes because the rest of the species we faced were total push over? For just two episodes with erectus and Neanderthal ,the Walking had a fraction of your budget and it had 8 species!
As for the scientific inaccuracies are too many to count and I don't want to spoil this mini-series.It simple doesn't worth my time! That is how low I have it, for it not awful, like the Dinosaur Revolution, which is a shame for the documentaries about prehistory, no, this bad in a way that is totally forgettable!
If you even find it out in Youtube, don't bother watch it. For real the Quest for Fire, which was made in 1981 is more accurate and it also gives awesome ideas for role playing with our special someone, you know what I mean ;).
