Maybe is not a perfect 10 but I've just binged it in one go....till 2am so that's my review in itself🙃
Lots of twists and turns, you guessing to the end...
Short episodes and like many other times on Netflix next episode swiftly starting in few seconds so I just could not turned it off till was over. Thomorrow will be rough wake up due to lack of sleep but it was worth it!
Watch yourself and enjoy, not the best maybe but very cleverly done! I did like it a lot.
Lisa still reminded me Phoebe from Friends like in every other movie but to be honest she was also quite watchable. Well done Netfli!

I was surprised to see the show rated as low as it is, but it made more sense after seeing a lot of the reviews explain how they didn't get past the first episode. The show is a mystery romp slow burn that may not be for everyone. I personally found it be to funny and entertaining with a tone particular to Liz Feldman that I enjoy. I really love the cast, and everyone's performance. I wasn't sold on Ray Romano at first because of my own biases (a lifetime of not being able to separate him from Every Loves Raymond) but that went away pretty quickly. All the various characters have their own side stories that form a tangled web of chaos which is gradually, although not fully, unraveled. By the last episode I was pretty invested in the story, despite working out the major twist very early on. I'm not mad at that though. I'd love to see more of this show and really hope they get a second season.
6.8 in rating, why!? I would give 8.5 if possible. I binged it over like a 24 hour time period. Ok at times a bit cheesy, but I just really like the casting and the acting, it feels warm and sincere, and the murder mystery is interesting enough with a small twist, without everything beeing all sad and miserable. The story is light and entertaining but has a certain amount of darkness due to the main story line. Like a nice but not too expesive piece of dark chockolate, covered in strawberry glaze. Give it a shot and you won't be disappointed. Don't expect a crime drama or true realism. This is an endearing comedy with a dark undernote.
It's unfortunate the low ratings are coming from people who "only watched 2 episodes" . It is in fact a slow burn, but if you stick around you won't be sorry. Yes, there is a lot going at once, but it all comes together in the end.. tears were shed several times.
The talent alone is impressive! From Dennis Leary, to freaking ALICE (Linda Lavin), there are some serious name drops here!
And a note fo those that take issue with 1 lesbian couple, and more ethnicities than white on the show... Welcome to how life really is.. this was absolutely not overkill, and those that thought it was need to take a hard look inward and ask why.

Interesting little series... takes awhile to develop but worth the wait. Lydia (Lisa Kudrow) probably had the best performance. Don't understand Hollywood's obsession with using the "F-Word" every five seconds... very distracting and seriously, does anybody really constantly talk that way all the time? Plot was pretty good overall and held together well over eight episodes. As advertised, it certainly was a dark comedy but definitely had a lot of funny comedy included. Cast was pretty good... good enough to wish there were a few extra episodes to watch but all in all it kinda drew you in and made you want to see the finale.
