  • Not the worst of porn parodies, but hardly worth watching given the lack of originality endemic to this disreputable genre.

Brad Armstrong insists on injecting himself into the picture, in a lousy imitation of Meatloaf's classic role, getting to hump contract star Alektra Blue in the ass. That's about the height of his creativity here.

Elsewhere we have Jessica Drake miscast in the lead Susan Sarandon role -she's too old. The musical production numbers get some emphasis, as Brad later did in his Magic Mike ripoff, merely indicating his unfulfilled aspirations to go mainstream and be appreciated as a real filmmaker. Not going to happen.

Very lengthy cast list includes many extras, and it was nice to see some of them given sex roles, like the great Lucky Starr who appears in many a Wicked picture in NonSex bits. James Bartholet is uninteresting in a quite pedestrian reading of the classic Charles Grey host & narrator assignment, and typical of so many bad movies the inclusion of Ron Jeremy as a cameo is wasted footage.

I was excited to see this. Naively, I didn't think anyone could actually mess up an RHPS parody, but I was wrong! They took a cult classic with explicitly gay source material and decided to make it straighter. Even knowing nothing about film production, I could have scripted, cast, and produced this better in my sleep.

So let's start off with this productions most egregious sins:

-Despite THE primary plot point being the "corruption" of the virginal Brad & Janet in Frank's castle, this parody immediately starts off with them having sex.

-During Brad & Janet's individual bedroom scenes, Frank defiles Janet, but Brad is seduced by two random Transylvanian women.

-Instead of Frank creating & reveling in the beautiful hunk that is Rocky, the story is straight-washed again & instead we have the bland, skinny "Rocki".

-Every scene is either a straight scene or a lesbian scene. No gay scenes whatsoever.

It's so incredibly boring that their approach to parodying a gay cult classic was "lesbian scenes are a necessity but heaven forbid we see two men together".

The casting was also very lackluster:

-Casting Randy Spears as Riff-Raff was just wrong. He would've been SO much better as the Criminologist! Or Doctor Scott, rather than subjecting people to more Ron Jeremy (yuck!).

-Jessica Drake wasn't terrible as Janet, but she is a little too old.

-Mac Turner was very boring and forgettable as Frank, which is simply a crime.

The only "good" parts of this god-awful parody were:

    -Alektra Blue as Columbia.

-The fact that all the Transylvanians were included in a scene together.

All in all; if you love The Rocky Horror Picture show for all it's quirkiness and want to see the hot gay tension brought to life: don't even bother with this parody! You won't get anything! Just go rewatch the original!
