In the comics, Drax is green. However, for the film, his color was changed to a muddier grey, partly because the movie already had a bright-green character (Gamora), but mostly to distinguish his appearance from the Hulk.

When Rocket is explaining his Prison Escape Plan and Groot goes to get the battery mounted on the wall, Groot's food tray disappears from his right hand as it passes behind Peter's head. However, you can see that his body leans to the right as he passes behind Peter in the frame and a clinking noise can be heard, hinting that he dropped the food tray off onto the table.
There is a statement at the start of the closing credits: "The Guardians of the Galaxy will return." Accompanying it is a scene of Groot dancing to Quill's music. The Guardians' next appearance in the MCU is in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017).
