Written for the Philadelphia Film Society's 20th Anniversary Short Film Competition in one night immediately after hearing about it at the local YMCA. It was storyboarded the next day.

Ayars' first short film, Philadelphia, Ti Amo has been screened at the Finger Lakes Film Festival (Geneva, NY) and Philadelphia Film Festival.

The man taking the picture of Michael and Veronica on the steps of the Art Museum is Executive Producer James Zervanos, long-time mentor and friend of Ayars, and author of the novel LOVE Park- which can be seen open in Michael's bed in the very first scene.
