  • One of the main things I love about this show, is how it has the power to transcend ordinary life to something so special. This show follows a n ordinary Parisian man, his dating life, his job(s), his friends and and daily life. The man in question is pretty ordinary, however through brilliant writing and directing this show is able to keep the audience entertained in every episode. One of the brilliance of the show is that, while his life is so simple and ordinary we don't get bored and can relate. We become the character because it is applicable to all of us. The writers and directors are also able to produce a show where each individual episode can be watched on their own, but put together have a story to tell. Each episode has just as much comedy as the previous one, it's smart, funny, original and will keep you laughing the whole way.
  • Bref is a France based short TV show that focuses on an everyday man who resumes some events in his life by starting most sentences with "bref" ("anyway" is he closest translation to the word). Throughout the series he introduces us to his habits, his friends, his family and personality. Each episode lasts about 1:45 min and shows very unimportant events happening around him but is able to make them funny and interesting. The viewer will enjoy it between two TV shows. The series is available on the official website of Canal + and seems to have a huge success in France. The show has been very acclaimed and produced already 17 episodes and seems to be scheduled for more.
