This one of a few movies released by heyns Films and was like many other Afrikaans movies a made for TV movie.We all know that made for TV movies are never that good but this one's got some potential. A drunkard Peet Jordaan(Johan v/d Merwe) sell his one and only daughter for cash to a wealthy woman so that he can get out of his debt.Rienie(Erika weasels) is thinking she is just going for a visit but she would never ever see her father again. And one day when she gets tha chance to see him one last time it is to late. A great movie and a perfect storyline. Like with many Afrikaans child stars they only appeared in one movie. Erika weasels never did any other movies and after this movie disappeared from the face of the earth.That was the case for child stars those days you only saw them once and never again.
