Continuity

When Junior was filling up the Trans-Am at the pump, he had just finished and we clearly seen the California Plate 1E49966 number after he removed the nozzle, but when Conrad came out and confront him at the rear of the car, the plates are not shown.

Continuity

When Laura took the call from Conrad and return to her deck with her 2 friends, they showed a cellphone and magazine resting on the 2 arm rests. But after the LAPD detective arrives the phone on the left arm rest is missing and so is the magazine on the right. Also she was shown with a drink in and out of her hand. Her two girlfriends sunglasses appear and disappear from there faces magically while the detective talks to the three ladies on the outside deck. It was highly noticeable between the front and rear camera shots.

Continuity

The scene where the LAPD detective was reviewing the case folder with Rose. The folder position changes right before Rose walks out of his office. The Detective hands also changes positions from being on top of the folder and off the folder. Previously wide angle shot shows the folder open and then closed.

Continuity

After the shoot at at the diner, the Highway Patrol car that Conrad drove to the diner is shown in a different position after the crime scene tape was erected. You can determine this by the pants outside of the window from when he 1st park and after the crime scene. Also the truck that Laura had stolen was shown in the background but after the crime scene tape, this vehicle has disappeared.

Errors in geography

The scene shot where it shows Republic Maldives and a small hill peak, is in fact not Maldives. In fact the highest point in Maldives is barely 8ft above sea level.

Factual errors

When the Russian was in his office he stated he was at the Russian consulate. There's no Russian consulate in Los Angeles.

Factual errors

The car at the gas pump was stated later on in the movie as a 1986 TransAm which it clearly is not.

Factual errors

They mentioned that the stolen Trans Am was a 1986... Definitely was not, more like a 1979.

Revealing mistakes

When accepting the cash from the Russians in exchange for the "information chip" the briefcase given to the two main characters includes a large number of 100$ bills with 'for theatrical use only" clearly visible on the bills.
