Have you ever heard a song that mesmerizes you so much that you have to just... sit down for a minute? That was me when I first heard Iniko's "Jericho." With intergalactic lyrics and a voice that immediately catches your attention, Iniko feels like someone from another world. Not only does Iniko know this about themselves and fully embraces it, but their words encourage others to realize that we live in a world full of infinite possibilities. It's hard not to be captivated by their music, but then I found out they're also an anime fan who is inspired by the stories it tells! I am always and forever in awe over the reach anime continues to have. Netflix is on the cusp of taking down a wide selection of movies and TV series.
The streaming service removes numerous titles each month, but without fanfare; unless you happen to select the thing that’s about to leave, you will have no idea there’s a limited amount of time left to watch.
Fortunately, we’ve compiled a list of every movie and TV show being removed from Netflix in April 2023.
We’ve aggregated all the impending removals from Netflix in the UK and US, which we’ve signalled below. If there isn’t a territory listed next to the title, then it will be leaving both.
Find a full list of every film and TV show arriving on Netflix this month here.
Nb: We put this list together with help from What’s on Netflix.

An anime series based on popular open-world role-playing game “Genshin Impact” is officially in the works.
HoYoverse, the Shanghai-based game developer behind “Genshin Impact,” announced a partnership with Japanese animation studio Ufotable to develop an anime based on the RPG. It also released a three-minute “concept trailer” in announcing the project (watch below).
“Let’s step into this vast magical world of adventure together!” the games company’s official “Genshin Impact” account tweeted Friday. “The long-term collaboration project between Genshin Impact and ufotable has begun.” The companies did not reveal an anticipated release date for the anime series, nor does the trailer provide firm clues as to what the show’s plot may center on.
First released in 2020, “Genshin Impact” has quickly become one of the highest-grossing mobile games. In the RPG, players travel throughout an open world in search of the Archons of the seven elements.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken is out with his 2021 Spotify playlist, in the spirit of other political figures who’ve taken to releasing their end-of-year favorites.
Blinken’s choices actually are two lists — one an “at home” compilation of American artists, the other an “on the road” selection inspired by places he’s visited over the past year.
The “at home” list — which you can see here — includes 17 choices, including Olivia Rodrigo’s “Traitor,” Taylor Swift’s “State of Grace,” Jon Batiste’s “Freedom,” Chris Stapleton’s “You Should Probably Leave” and “Leave the Door Open” from Bruno Mars, Anderson .Paak and Silk Sonic, as well as “Holy” from Justin Bieber, featuring Chance the Rapper.
The “on the road list” — available here — includes three dozen selections.
This is also a bit of a cultural and diplomatic exercise, as the selections highlight artists from different regions of the world,...
