Filming has been underway since July on Cbbc's follow-up to Tracy Beaker, The Dumping Ground. Alongside the existing cast who are returning, three brand new characters Faith, Mo and Floss also join The Dumping Ground.
Leanne Dunstan plays teenager Faith. Leanne (represented by Identity Agency Group) played Rochelle in Cbbc's Postcode, and is currently studying for a BA in Dance Performance at Middlesex University.
Faith is bright, optimistic and independent. Always looking forward, she is sporty, energetic and a positive role model, but also a complete mystery at The Dumping Ground; no-one knows who she is, where she’s from or anything about her background, and she isn’t planning to share that in a hurry!
10 year old Reece Buttery (represented by A&J Management) plays young tearaway Mo, who comes to The Dumping Ground on a short-term emergency placement when his parents have trouble coping. Mo lives for the...

Production begins this week on a new 6-part comedy drama series for BBC Three called Bad Education, written by and starring comedian and Fresh Meat star Jack Whitehall. Jack plays Alfie, the worst teacher ever to grace the British education system.
Co-written with Freddie Syborn, and produced by Tiger Aspect, Bad Education is a comedy about a teacher who’s a bigger kid then the pupils he teaches.
Alfie Wicker was always a loser; the kid that everyone gave up hope in, dropping back year after year at school and at university. But, in the end, he scraped through and got his Pgcse. And now, he’s got his first job as a teacher of a support class. His class is made up of pupils struggling to get through their Gcse’s and it’s his job to give them extra tuition in a selection of key topics. So, in a highly ironic way,...

Screenterrier posted the casting call for new Cbbc series Postcode back in May last year, and now the series is about to hit our screens.
Postcode stars a line-up of new talent:
Rwanda-born 17 year old Roger Nsengiyumva, from Norwich, who made his screen debut last year in feature film Africa United takes the lead role of Jamal. He is joined by newcomer Manpreet Bambra (represented by Kelly Management) as female lead Sheela and another newcomer 17 year old Robert Eades from London stars as Zak.
The three-part drama, written by the BAFTA-winning screenwriter Tony Marchant, follows a group of young people with diverse backgrounds who share a postcode – but very little else.
In the first episode of the three-part drama, viewers meet Jamal, a Somali refugee from the local estate, and Zac, who lives in a posh house just around the corner.
When their paths cross by accident at the local Mini Mart,...
