McB is the story of a group of elementary school kids from a public school in Brooklyn, NY who learn about the process of putting on a Shakespearean play. As the documentary follows them through their rehearsals, the students begin to reflect back on the experience of performing Shakespeare but especially Macbeth, a play that is rooted in violence. This film explores the importance of art in our public school systems and how one engaging teacher can make a lasting impact on so many young lives.
