Designed as a showcase for lovely star Elsa Jean, this DVD consists of five vignettes shot for the Tushy label, hence with anal-sex emphasized throughout. A sixth segment entitled "Encore" in which Emily Willis and Elsa co-starred appeared on a year-later DVD: "Emily Willis: Influence".
Elsa portrays a highly successful social media influencer, who embarks on shooting sex scenes involving herself to amplify the content she presents on-line and greatly enhance her popularity. She begins with recording sex with her manager Ryan McLane, and later takes advantage of sexual liaisons arranged by a mysterious backer named Dr. Wolf, played by Michael Stefano.
A key performer is beautiful Ariana Marie, cast as Elsa's BFF, and crucial to further developments in her story, as is Elsa's diary that mysteriously disappears.
This story is more compelling and engrossing than the usual nominal set-up scenes that populate Tushy vignettes, as well as those of sister labels like Vixen and Blacked, giving "Influence" some depth. But as usual, the story and dialogue material plays second-fiddle to the XXX footage.
Major drawback here is the ice-cold, almost smug performance by Elsa, whose prowess in the sex department is impressive. The unfortunate result is that the attempts at drama and characterization suffer. That's a shame, as this project had the makings of a quality porn movie, rather than just a collection of "hot" sex scenes.
