| Conceptually intriguing, but painfully delivered
The concept surrounding this film was the only reason i was attracted to it. After the concept had been mentally processed the rest was quite awful. This movie was painful to watch in regards to cinematography, acting and music. The cinematography was incredibly cliché and instead of placing the viewers in the current time zone (the desired time zone) it placed us in a post apocalyptic future. The music was extremely hormonal and did not flow well with the sound affects or natural sounds. In a movie that was trying to give off the impression that black people are equal it more as such posed them as psychotic killers (reference: forest fighting scene) in which the music kicks into some Darth Vader evil soundtrack and the African male can be seen stalking the Caucasian men. The acting was extremely teeth grinding to watch. Especially in regard to the voice work. the only decent actor was the young African female. The rest of the cast failed to show any evidence of acting skills.
