Did You Know?

Alexandra Daddario only called Dwayne Johnson "The Rock" when talking to others.

Raymond Gaines: I wanna thank you guys for being there for Blake.
Emma Gaines: Yeah, thank you.
Ben Taylor: You're welcome. But it was more like she was there for us. I think.

In the beginning of the film, Paul Giamatti is giving a lecture on past earthquakes while images of each corresponding earthquake are displayed on a projector screen. While on the topic of the 1960 Chile earthquake and tsunami, the projector incorrectly displays an image taken from the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami.

Crazy Credits

The end credits scroll with a bend at the top and bottom of the screen, as though they are on a rotating seismograph drum. Seismic lines, increasing in intensity, can be seen on the left side of the frame.
