The earthquake in Downtown Los Angeles is powerful enough to prevent people from staying on their feet, causing structural failure, roof and floor collapse. However several bottles of liquor appear to remain unaffected on their glass shelves above the bar, as does most of the stainless cookware in the kitchen.
The end credits scroll with a bend at the top and bottom of the screen, as though they are on a rotating seismograph drum. Seismic lines, increasing in intensity, can be seen on the left side of the frame.
