Released in 1942 by the then newly-formed "roadhouse" company, Comedy House, Bob's Busy Day started life as "Going Spanish", a two-reeler from 1934 produced by Educational Pictures, but after undergoing extensive editing and a name change, the result was a one-reeler that retains all the comedic scenes from "Going Spanish", but without the musical interludes.
