Deeper is a very successful porn label, associated with director (and still active actress) Kayden Kross, but Ken Shiro fills in as helmer occasionally, documented in this so-so set of four vignettes. The glamour and gonzo style of KK is fairly well imitated.
Problem is that the set-up "dramatic" scenes are generally flat and uninteresting, as the viewer waits patiently for the gonzo XXX action to take over. Also tedious is the presence of KK's spouse, big-dicked Manuel Ferrara, on-screen throughout.
His dour presence during the dialogue scenes is a drag, and once he's started penetrating the set of six young beauties the action reverts to the same pounding one observes in dozens of his own videos. This is mechanical sex, gussied up by luxurious settings and lovely styling/femme costuming.
Best scene is "Tell Me Your Secret", name of a podcast presented by Haley Reed, mature enough looking though still wearing braces on her teeth (youthfulness must be served up to the fans). She interviews successful fashion designer Alexander Thomas (Ferrara) who quickly reverses roles by asking her the questions. He favors spontaneity and being a free spirit in life and work, and dares her to do the same, namely have sex with him during the live podcast. It's a modern version of an old porn trope -the sex during a broadcast during a radio call-in show.
Shiro throws in a couple of threesomes, but unless you're a Manuel addict it's dullsville.
