| Two hours of constant fun that just doesn't stop!
Aanand Rai's golden goose returns with a golden egg. Only this time around you see two of 'em. Kangana Ranaut could be seen donning two armours as she swaggers her way into boisterous Indian processions and shakes it to big uproarious weddings. Her acting prowess has gradually revamped with time. She has gone pro and she knows it! Rai's flick is an entertaining hoot that doesn't stop tickling you at any point. With exceptional actors like Deepak Dobriyal, Rajesh Sharma and Swara Bhaskar weaving out their magic along with the main protagonists, the movie turns out to be pretty great. Madhavan is laconic once again here, but plays his character's naivety just fine. Kangana cannot be forgotten as Datto. She delivers her lines with so much confidence you are compelled to think if it is a different person altogether.

The plot has twists that make the audience rooted, humour that keeps you interested, and so many messages that its stellar cast delivers at so many points. The best one being when Rajesh Sharma scorns the narrow-mindedness that still homes in rural Haryana. Kangana's flair when her character Datto spits out and hits back at Tanu was outstanding too.

At times the movie seems to go in a pointless direction and you can literally see the blueprint the director went with in order to reach a predictable showdown. The inclusion of a character to make a point and to add extra masala was quite apparent. Of course, Indian movies literally breathe on songs and gaga ceremonies, a stereotype even good directors hate to miss out on. They wish a 'connect' with the audience on so many levels and fortunately for Rai Tanu Weds Manu Returns has managed to reach it.

A wonderful entertaining movie that captures the ugly stages of love, with someone who is hard to live with. A must watch!
