  • In Hollywood "high-concept" has a well-known meaning, but in pornland it is often just about a catchy artwork or title. JUNKYARD SUSIE is the latter, a cute moniker applied to a nothing video in order to briefly fill some shelves at the late Video Shacks of the nation. (And a name can make all the difference - compare Danny Meyer's Shake Shack to the late Video Shack and the soon to be late Radio Shack.)

Sue Nero naturally assumes the title role (even though merely guest starring), justified by a brief scene where she goes to an auto graveyard to get some parts from David Morris and this being XXX he gives her something extra.

Main couple is Annette Heinz and one "Alan Shetel" (a fake screen credit for an actor who I identified as the insufferable Scott Baker, but someone more knowledgeable than I needs to confirm this -IMDb leaves out the credit entirely), living in what looks like Brooklyn. Nothing much happens but various contrived sex scenes: including sex in a car illuminated by flashlight, and Heinz having a lesbo liaison with busty Kim Bernard.

Kim reveals that Tony (David Morris) isn't her brother after all, so her pal Ashley Wells wants to hump him. Kim asks Ashley to help her become a whore, and then Kim gives a john named Ralph a blow job up on the roof (this male character is uncredited - perhaps he participated for free).

Suddenly Heinz, "Shetel" and Kim have a threesome and the film ends abruptly.

It all this sounds uneventful, watching it is even duller than you'd expect. Pondering the Jewish in-joke of using the word shetel as a name barely kept me awake.
