- The footage showing Topsy the Elephant being electrocuted may upset animal lovers, however the actual death is not shown.
- The Homestead Strike is quite intense especially when a young officer is forced to shoot a unarmed worker.
- When the narrator is explaining the aftermath of the Johnstown Flood, it may be shocking to people to hear how people died and how many. We also see the real pictures of the incident as well.
- The electric chair scene is intense, especially when we know the person did not die right away.
