Crunch Calhoun, a semi-reformed art thief, agrees to get his old gang back together to pull off one last heist.
When the gang meets Ponch, he comments on how all their names sound like candy bars. In the Bruce Willis art heist movie "Hudson Hawk," a group of CIA agents all have candy-bar names.
Interpol Agent Bick:
Let me ask you a question. You ever seen the inside of Sing Sing?
Francie Tobin: I haven't
Interpol Agent Bick: Cause I know a lot of guys who would like to fuck you inside there.
Francie Tobin: You hitting on me?
When uncle Paddy is talking with the Reverend about "the Gospel according to James" robbery in Amsterdam, you see a guy running through the Streets in a city. He stumbles into a car with Italian license plate and several romanian cars. Also in background you see a billboard with the text "Unitatea ecologica". The police officer who's chasing the guy wears a uniform which is clearly not dutch. Lastly the street signs are not the kind which you will find in Amsterdam. All those things suggest that this was not filmed in Amsterdam but in Bucharest (Romania). In several shots the Romanian flag is clearly visible and at min 5.06 the metro station is Piata Universitate (the exit is Pasajul Intercontinental).
At the end of the credits, the ice vendor with the slow business makes another appearance
