Kristina Rose gets the showcase of her career as THE SECRETARY, Nica Noelle's portrait of a scheming, sex-crazed young woman whose sexual adventures I found memorable in today's sea of lookalike gonzo porn. I'll be watching the unrelated followup features from Sweet Sinner soon to see if quality of this initial effort has been maintained.
She starts off as the receptionist at a law firm but has eyes on the job opening for partner Danny Mountain's assistant. Her method is simple -seduce his senior partner Randy Spears, and this works like a charm - Spears phoning Mountain and insisting he hire her, though Danny is dead set against putting an inexperienced worker in an important position (requiring legal research skills).
We never get to see Kristina's 9 to 5 skills here, other than her Machiavellian tendencies and prowess in the sexual arena. Two-hour feature concentrates on her humping ability for 3 out of the 4 requisite half-hour sex scenes, the fourth relegated to always natural Zoe Voss as Mountain's very sympathetic wife.
Video is simple and direct, with Rose making a strong impression. Nica staged an office party scene with the rarity of employing extras in these chamber dramas, ordinarily limited to just five or six players per feature. I was able to identify several prominent actresses, all uncredited: Magdalene St. Michaels reappears later miming a scene as the firm's HR director; Satine Phoenix is the co-worker who shows Kristina around on her new job, and Allie Haze loses a catty battle of words at the party when she pesters Kristina about how she managed to land the plum promotion at the firm.
