Sam Fisher and his Fourth Echelon must stop a dangerous terrorist group known as the Engineers who threaten several terrorist attacks on American soil to force the US Military to pull out of its overseas bases.
The blade Sam uses is an Indonesian Karambit, sometimes known as a 'Panther Claw.' This ties into the game's brand of aggressive stealth previously explored in Splinter Cell: Conviction (2010) in which the developers compared Sam to a panther. In this game 'Panther' is formally recognized as one of the play-styles the player may choose.
Nouri is of more use to us out there than in here locked up with Kobin.
Andriy Kobin: Uh, I disagree...
Andriy Kobin: ...You don't care. I get it. I'll shut up.
At several points in the game the Paldin's altitude is given in "angles". This term is never used by pilots. Instead, close to the ground altitude is given in feet, which is set by the pilots using the barometric pressure provided by ATC and given as "altimeter setting" or just "altimeter", "Altimeter two-niner niner five (for 29.95 inches Hg). At higher altitudes (above 18000 feet in the US) pilots use the term "flight level" which is the altitude shown by setting the altimeter to it's standard setting and may not be it's actual height above the ground.
