Trick or Treat Scooby-Doo! (2022)

Trivia

Trick or Treat Scooby-Doo!

Edit
It is the first DTV to use the animation style of Scooby-Doo and Guess Who? (2019).
Coolsville, first mentioned in A Pup Named Scooby-Doo (1988), has been restored as the gang's hometown, whereas in the previous few direct-to-video movies, their hometown was Crystal Cove from Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated (2010). The general unwritten rule is that Coolsville is used in lighthearted versions, while Crystal Cove is used in stories with a darker tone.
In Trevor's costume shop, there is an Easter egg in the background. One of the shelves has a red and green striped sweater resembling the one worn by Freddy Krueger in the A Nightmare on Elm Street franchise.
The name Coco Diablo appears to be based on legendary fashion designer Coco Chanel. Just as Coco Diablo is jailed for enabling criminals, Coco Chanel was suspected of betraying France to the Nazis, but was never formally charged.

Cameo

Lara Jill Miller: voice of Lisa Loud on Episode #1.12 (2000) does a young boy dressed up as a prisoner.
