Principle photography was shot within 5 days across both Philadelphia and Atlantic City.
A majority of the cast and crew worked on the online web series The Channel X News Team & The Battle for the Future (2009). While in development on the series, Shane Bissett began to discuss his ideas for the movie with future lead actor Dave Coleman.
With three cameras running at all times, the small crew ran around Philadelphia in a minivan and two four door compact cars, stealing exterior shots around the city and carefully timing out arrivals at locations in order to fit their limited schedule.
The acting is entirely improvised, with the story based off of a short treatment developed by Shane Bissett and Brendan McHugh.
Director Shane Bissett prepared his two leads Dave Coleman & Jade Elysan with heavy backstories for their characters and gave them an outline of how the story would play out. The scenes themselves were entirely improvised, with a concept outlined but no dialogue written. Though the overall story was outlined in detail, limitations of the shoot forced on the day adjustments as locations shifted and availability of actors changed last minute. The story effectively became as improvised as the dialogue.
